Fashion fans in frenzy as major new pop-up shop set to open in Irish city
FASHION fans have been sent into a frenzy after a global retailer announced that it would be opening a pop-up shop in one Irish city.
After two hugely successful pop-ups in Dublin, online retailer SHEIN is taking things to the sunny south for their second Irish pop-up shop.
SHEIN’s next pop-up will be in Opera Lane, Cork for a very limited time this May.
The brand promises to make sure you are set for the summer season, with a glamorous Coachella theme for the pop-up.
Shoppers will get the chance to shop the collections in person, in some festival-inspired insta-ready surroundings.
Saturday and Sunday on May 13 and 14 will see a make-up artist perform live demos using SHEIN’s SHEGLAM range, while a nail artist will be working their magic from Monday until Wednesday.

The SHEIN pop-up will be kicking off with an exclusive opening party on May 12, giving media and influencers a first glimpse of the stunning store on Opera Lane.
The pop-up will be open to the public from May 13 – 17 with fans of the brand being able to purchase the collections in-store for the duration of the pop-up.
However, shoppers have been warned that card payment only will be accepted.
There are lots of extras in store for those in attendance, with a free gift for the first 100 shoppers on the opening day, and a free gift for those who complete an in-store survey, while stocks last.

SHEIN say they pride themselves on making fashion accessible for everyone and the pop-up will reflect that ethos, with collections for women, men and kids, and their extensive curve range.
SHEIN shoppers will be able to shop a selection from their much-loved collections, including glitz and glamour from SHEIN Bae, TikTok-worthy swimwear, holiday staples from SHEIN VKAY, and in a first for Ireland, kidswear will be available too.
SHEIN will be making a monetary donation and donating all remaining stock from their pop-up shop to their charity partner, The Society of St. Vincent De Paul.
Opening hours are:
- May 13 Saturday 9:30am – 7:30pm
- May 14 Sunday – 11:00am – 6:30pm

Ana said: “It’s giving wedding guest vibes.”
Its description reads: “Get a red carpet look with this unique piece that will accompany you to all the dances of the season.
“Its powerful red colour and the design with a multitude of fringes will favour you in any type of event.
“Fringed finish fabric. Tailored dress. Midi design. Halter neck. Thin straps.
“Zip fastening on the back section. Scalloped hem. Made in Portugal.

“We recommend steaming the garment as little as possible, since it is distributed ironed.”
